Gorgeous Freida!

Freida Pinto, the star of the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire and a future star of a Woody Allen movie, dazzled at the D&G show in Milan today. She not only spent time with stars such as Scarlett Johansson and Kate Hudson in the VIP room, but she also walked the D&G runway. The buzz in the industry, according to WWD, is that Pinto will be the new face of Estee Lauder cosmetics.

Scarlett Johansson rarely looks vulgar or makes bad beauty choices but she looked atrocious next to Pinto. Those dark cherry locks do not suit her at all! She should definitely remain blonde, or at most, go with a black shade.

Invest in Vests

The Ralph Lauren Fall/Winter 2009 collection was an exhibition of styles made with satin and all manner of clothing items paired with full vests, most of the time in satin.

Surprisingly, all the shoes were open toe heels.

Black and White=Gorgeous!

The Chanel Spring 2009 Couture collection is simple and gorgeous. Either black, white, or a combination of the two, everything can be worn in the real world. It is a pleasure to look at the pictures. Nothing garish, not too gaudy, just simplicity. With minimal embellishments, this couture collection is one of the best.

Fake Wide Hips, Anyone?

The Lanvin Spring 2009 collection was filled to the brim with models in outfits that widened the hips...intentionally. In an era when women obsessively diet, Lanvin introduced hips. Although the outfits were not truly flattering, not even for the models, the collection did stress vibrant satin for this Spring season.

So, what do we learn from this? We should wear clothes that make our hips wider in ultra-widening materials (such as satin) and bright colors.
